Guidelines for Members Creative Contributions

To honor the spirit of unity, dignity, and inclusivity, we ask all members to follow these simple rules when submitting their contributions:

  1. Respectful & Inclusive

    • Contributions must avoid offensive, discriminatory, or divisive language related to caste, creed, religion, gender, age, or background.

    • All voices are welcome and valued equally.

  2. Maintain Elegance & Professionalism

    • Write with clarity, thoughtfulness, and a sense of dignity.

    • Poetry, stories, and articles should uplift, inform, or inspire—reflecting the cultural and humanitarian spirit of UPBA.

  3. Original Work

    • Submit your own creations. If you wish to share quotes, proverbs, or references, please credit the source.

    • Plagiarism will not be accepted.

  4. Non-Political & Non-Commercial

    • Submissions should focus on culture, heritage, creativity, and community values.

    • Political campaigning or promotional material is not permitted.

  5. Cultural Sensitivity

    • Celebrate diversity with pride while being sensitive to traditions, values, and beliefs.

    • Humor, satire, or commentary should always remain respectful.

  6. Quality & Length

    • Short poems, stories, and reflections are encouraged (500–1000 words for articles).

    • Submissions may be gently edited for clarity, grammar, and presentation while keeping the author’s voice intact.

📌 Submission Disclaimer

By submitting your story, poem, article, or reflection to Voice of Members, you agree to the following:

  1. Ownership & Credit

    • You confirm that the work is your original creation.

    • You retain full ownership of your work. UPBA will always credit you as the author when published.

  2. Permission to Publish

    • You grant the Uttar Pradesh Bhartiya Association (UPBA) a non-exclusive right to publish your submission on our website, newsletters, event materials, and official social media platforms.

    • This right is for cultural and community purposes only, and UPBA will not sell or commercially exploit your work.

  3. Editing & Presentation

    • Submissions may be lightly edited for clarity, grammar, and formatting, while preserving the integrity of your original message.

  4. Respectful Standards

    • Contributions must follow UPBA’s guidelines of respect, dignity, and non-discrimination. Works containing offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content may not be published.

  5. Withdrawal

    • Authors may request removal of their submission from UPBA platforms by contacting the association in writing.
